The East Coast Greenway Alliance is hiring for three positions with applications closing on Sunday, November 14: Active Events Manager and North Carolina & Virginia Coordinator based out of our Durham, North Carolina, headquarters and Florida Coordinator based in the Sunshine State:
Active Event Manager: A new position, the Active Event Manager will increase the impact of East Coast Greenway Alliance active events. Experience leading and managing large-scale events such as bike rides, walks and runs with 300+ registered participants is required. To thrive in the position, the selected candidate must possess a growth mentality, be an expert communicator, and have the necessary skills and experience to support, empower, and grow our team. This position will work both independently and in collaboration with several ECGA staff departments. Florida Coordinator: The Florida Coordinator is a full-time position that carries state-wide responsibilities for all aspects of greenway development, advocacy, and State Committee/volunteer engagement. This position helps communities along the route in Florida plan, build, and maintain sections of the Greenway. The Florida Coordinator works under the direction of the Deputy Director in coordination with other ECGA staff. The right candidate will grow, support and empower our volunteers in the state and must be able to travel frequently within Florida for meetings and events.
