Inaugural NYC-to-Philadelphia Greenway Ride shifts to 2021

With COVID-19-related health and safety precautions for ride participants, staff and volunteers remaining a top priority, the East Coast Greenway Alliance has made the decision to shift the inaugural New York City-to-Philadelphia Greenway Ride to 2021.  

The East Coast Greenway and ride production partners at Global Impact Productions (GIP) are committed to announcing a new late spring 2021 date for the inaugural ride as soon as government and health officials deem it is appropriate to do so. Our work will continue in conjunction with GIP and our local government partners to organize a safe event for all involved. We will share an updated schedule as soon as we are able.  

All registration fees and any fundraising donations that already secured toward the originally scheduled May 2020 event will be applied to the rescheduled 2021 ride. When the new event date is set, we will share information on an updated fundraising timeline with all participants.  

Trail use is surging along the East Coast Greenway and beyond, and our country is experiencing a boom in bicycle use. The commitment to this ride and to helping build a healthy, equitable and sustainable future through the development of more miles of safe, protected trails is more important than ever. We are grateful for all who support our nonprofit and its mission.   

We hope you are able to recreate responsibly, while enjoying your local greenways and trails with proper physical-distancing measures. We look forward to celebrating at the finish line in Philadelphia in 2021!
