With the Holiday Season and another great year of East Coast Greenway progress finishing up, we want to party with you in
Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday, December 19th!
When: Doors open at 8 PM on the 19th, and we aim to party til almost midnight.
Where: One of the newest, most happening spots in red hot Williamsburg,
Baby's All Right, at
146 Broadway in Brooklyn.
Who: You can join people from all over NYC and beyond who care about the environment, health, and economic empowerment throughout the Eastern Seaboard, people who see the 2,900-mile
East Coast Greenway playing a vital role in moving our country forward.
What's special about it: We'll have one of the top actors of our generation, Academy Award nominated and current Golden Globe nominee Michael Shannon singing with his band,
Corporal! You've probably seen him on movie screens (over 35 movies from
Groundhog Day to General Zod in
Superman: Man of Steel), TV (most notably
Boardwalk Empire), and theater (he'll be on Broadway again next spring in
Long Day's Journey Into Night). You won't want to miss it! To learn more about Corporal via social media, check out their
Twitter and
Facebook handles.
The opener is a genius poet from Brooklyn, Sampson Starkweather, who will do a reading at about 8:15 to kick off a night of great art, music, food, and drinks! Before Corporal takes the stage around 9:30, we'll hear from
.357 Lover, led by Corn Mo, a former member of Polyphonic Spree who has performed on Jimmy Kimmel, and recently on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
How do I get tickets?: $30 per person includes an East Coast Greenway mixed drink (something creative including blueberries and key limes...) and will be available at Baby's All Right's website
here.
