Sent off with a smudging from the Passamaquoddy Indians, we left Calais, Maine, and made our way through New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Watch videoWe enjoyed small-town welcomes in Connecticut, a big gathering of FreeWalkers in New York City, a beautiful evening celebration in Philadelphia, and much more fun.
Watch videoFrom quiet, scenic roads in Virginia, the River Relay came home to Durham, NC, as we presented our first-ever Southeast Greenways & Trails Summit. Then, inspired and energized, we headed on east for Wilmington, NC.
Watch videoOur final three weeks included traveling from Wilmington, NC, to Savannah with the Week A Year Tour cyclists, then continuing on through Georgia and Florida to Key Largo.
