The East Coast Greenway Alliance works to link communities by way of a 3,000-mile, traffic-separated biking and walking route stretching from Maine to Florida. This connection is more than just a physical space. It’s a linear community center in the making. For the Greenway to become more welcoming to all, the Alliance strives to create a NYC-to-PHL Greenway Ride in which cyclists of all abilities and backgrounds can come together and share a transformative experience, where they will learn and bond with each other over the course of their two-day journey.
In this effort, the Alliance seeks to make the event accessible and inclusive of all people, in particular underrepresented communities and individuals in cycling and the outdoors, including but not limited to Black, Indigenous, people of color, people with disabilities, people who identify as LGBTQ+, immigrants, women, youth, older adults and people with financial hardship. We are offering a limited number of rider sponsorship spots for our NYC-to-PHL Greenway Ride, May 14-15. If selected, riders will have their registration fee and fundraising minimums waived.
Please note that ridership recipients will be responsible for travel, food and lodging expenses.
The application period is closed for this year's event.
