Join the Washington Area Bicyclist Association Trail Ranger team and Daniel Paschall from the East Coast Greenway Alliance to bike part of the eastern seaboard route from Florida to Maine - no bike camping required!
Are you curious about the eight-mile Metropolitan Branch Trail as a commute option with the Red Line closure of Brookland and Rhode Island late July to early September? Let's check it out. We’ll meet in Silver Spring and meander down the hill to end at Union Station.
We're bringing extra water and snacks but please bring a water bottle, helmet and a working bicycle.
We will be primarily on trails and this will be a no-drop social pace ride. We'll start promptly at 2 pm to make sure we end on time. We’ll also reimburse you for your usage fees if you use Capital Bikeshare for the ride.
In the case of substantial rain, we will reschedule the ride.
