Join us for a creek cleanup and environmental education event with the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association. This is a great service project for homeschooled children of any age, young or older — but it's open to all.
Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring insect repellent, water, and snacks.
Park at the Edison Johnson Recreation Center, 600 W Murray Ave, Durham, NC 27704. We'll meet near the playground area. The cleanup will be along the Ellerbe Creek trails around Rock Quarry Park, a short walk away.
