Trail in Danvers, MA, part of the Border-to-Boston and East Coast Greenway trails.

The Border to Boston Trail will be composed of several trails in the 19 cities and towns from the New Hampshire border to North Station in Boston. With each passing year, the trail is getting closer to becoming a safe off-road route and an important link in the East Coast Greenway.

Join us Sunday, June 9 for a ride, half on paved surface and half on stone dust trail. We’ll see sections of trail in development or undergoing surface upgrades. A hybrid bike with at least 32- 35 tires is the best for this ride. This is a non-supported ride so plan to bring an extra tube.

One group will leave at 9 am from the New Hampshire border in Salisbury, MA, to do a 62 mile (100k ride). If you are interested in this longer ride, email Dan: dan.tieger@gmail.com.

A second group will meet at the Daybreak Café (30 Main Street, Topsfield) at 11 am and continue south for a 42-mile ride. If interested in this option,  email Dave : dave@readfamilyhome.com.

We’ll stop for lunch and a beer at North Station. There are trains back north at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Bikes are allowed on all trains on weekends. You are responsible for your own train ticket.
