img 5005

From Durham's Atomic Clock Brewing Company to Deep River Brewing in Clayton, and points in between, craft beer enthusiasts and trail users alike can explore a vibrant craft beer scene along the East Coast Greenway in North Carolina's Triangle region. More than 20 breweries are located within just one mile of the route, offering a perfect blend of outdoor adventure and local flavor - all while supporting local businesses along the Greenway route.

Whether you're cycling, walking or simply exploring, these breweries provide refreshing stops to enjoy unique, locally crafted brews while taking in the sights and culture of the region.

Many locations also serve food in family- and pet-friendly settings. Consult the websites linked below for more information. And, of course, many breweries also will be happy to refill your water bottle for you before continuing on your journey.

Enjoy the diverse craft beer offerings along the East Coast Greenway responsibly by planning ahead, staying hydrated and knowing your limits. Whether you're taking a break from a bike ride or wrapping up a scenic walk, savor your drink in moderation and always follow local laws and safety guidelines. Let’s keep the Greenway a fun, safe and welcoming space for all!
