Willimantic, Connecticut

Join the East Coast Greenway Alliance and Trust for Public Land for a group ride on Connecticut’s Air Line North Trail, part of the 3,000-mile East Coast Greenway. We’ll start at the Jillson House Museum in Willimantic and ride at your own pace, choosing the distance that works best for you. Options include:

• 10 miles one way to Goodwin State Park (20 miles round trip)
• 20 miles one way to Pomfret (40 miles round trip)

New Haven, Connecticut

Join the East Coast Greenway Alliance on a 67-mile journey as we highlight the need to close the remaining gaps in the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail and Hartford Connector segments of the East Coast Greenway. New in 2025, an updated route will take riders from the Canal Dock Boathouse on Long Wharf Drive in New Haven to Connecticut’s Old Statehouse at Statehouse Square in Hartford.

Roger Herz Greenway and Active Mobility Award

Honoring longtime New York City bicycle advocate Roger Herz, the Roger Herz Greenway and Active Mobility Award recognizes an individual for their outstanding contributions to promoting sustainable transportation and active mobility along the East Coast Greenway. Stay tuned for details on the 2026 award process.
