Note on route conditions and safety:

When downloading our maps and cue sheets, keep in mind that 73% of our route is currently on interim on-road sections while more trail is being constructed. While we have generally chosen roads and streets with low traffic and bike lanes or good shoulders where they exist, conditions are not always appropriate for all users. The on-road sections are recommended only for cyclists with some experience and some sections are suitable only for advanced cyclists. Everyone should use caution and be watchful for adverse conditions. In addition, some of the off-road segments are unpaved and, while they should support narrow tires, some people may find them uncomfortable.

Note on map and cue sheet accuracy:

Please note that information on these maps and cue sheets is subject to change at any time. ECGA will endeavor to keep these maps updated.

Some of the maps and cue sheets are PDF files. To view them, you must have a PDF reader program installed on your computer. If you do not already have a reader, you can download a free reader from Adobe:

Overview Maps

These planning maps show an overview of the ECG in each state. They are intended to provide general information. They do not provide sufficient detail for navigation (see the Google maps, cue sheets, and user guides for that). Select either JPG or PDF files.

Google Maps

Our Google Maps are more detailed than our overview maps, and are useful for trip planning. You may use them for navigation in conjunction with the cue sheets.

We have created our Google Maps as separate state files. When you open a map, a new browser window will open. Older Opera browsers may not work - please try Firefox, Safari, Explorer, or the newest Opera browser.

Please note: Google's servers cache our Greenway data as a way to increase loading speed. However, this may mean that you are not getting the latest Greenway data. We recommend clicking the 'refresh' or 'reload' button on your browser after loading the state Google Map.

Green lines are trail, blue lines are on-road routing. Some maps have aqua lines (Ferry/water taxi). The Maryland map has a purple line indicating van service needed to cross the Susquehanna River.

Note: We are transitioning to showing only the travel route on these maps, omitting those trails that are not yet constructed, to avoid confusion. (Some of these maps still show all information; on those maps, orange lines show trails in development and red lines show proposed trail routing which is not yet under development.
